With a resume that includes a National Tennis Ranking at the age of 14, winning the crown of Miss Teen Texas in 2002, a concert aboard the U.S.S. J.F.K. aircraft carrier for our troops, back to back singles on country radio in 2005, over 100 radio station visits and performances, a performance at the CMA Music Festival, having videos played on CMT and GAC, recording a first of it’s kind record with some of the best songwriters in Nashville, Brittany Wells is just getting started. Brittany has accomplished all of this and more before her 21st birthday. Did I mention ALL of this was accomplished while also being a full time student? The best way to describe Brittany is Talented, Determined and Humble. Not only is she committed to her work, but also her family and her values. Immediately taken back by her voice and her beauty you want to assume that is what she has going for her. It doesn’t take long while spending time with Brittany to be able to see past her appearance only to realize her very infectious personality. A quick sense of humor and ability to laugh at her self, complete the “total package” artist. Within minutes you feel as if you have known her forever. Three country newcomers, Gretchen Wilson, Miranda Lambert and Brittany Wells accomplished what no others did in 2005 charting back to back singles (Too Long , Somebody’s Somebody) on the R&R Indicator Chart. What made Brittany’s accomplishments even more impressive is that she achieved this while on a small independent label with no in house promotion staff. When most College Students go home to relax for the Holidays, Brittany spent her Christmas Break in Nashville recording the first of its kind project with some of Nashville’s best songwriters. One of the writers from each of the songs was the actual producer of each song. Some of the writers included Hillary Lindsey (Jesus Take the Wheel), Marv Green (Amazed) BMI Songwriter of the Year Winners Troy Verges, Casey Beathard and Aimee Mayo just to name a few. That collection of music will be Brittany’s next release. The title of her first CD best describes Brittany’s journey so far in the music business, she has been “Loving Every Minute of It!”
