Lyrics & Music by TOM MACLEAR
ONE MORE RODEO'S TOM MACLEAR... was born in Bozeman Montana and has lived a colorfully nomadic life in Scotland, Ireland, England, Sweden and the U.S.
From his world travels and early influences of Hank Williams, Bordeaux & Bryant, Roy Orbison, Johnny and Bob Dylan, came the passion of a simple melody with a simple message making a mighty powerful song.
Tom's Country roots took ground in California, playing legendary clubs as the Palomino, The Boarding House, Troubadour and The Whisky... Working For or Touring With the likes of The Flying Burrito Brothers, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Emmy Lou Harris' (to name a few), Pushing the envelope and spreading a New-Wave of Country Music to the east...It was Texas, Nashville, NYC then the world tours.
After a few years, the lure of Country Music wore off for Tom when his career rocketed to numerous writing, touring and recording ventures for Rod Stewart, Annie Lennox and many others. MacLear launched a solo career in 1995 which kept him mostly in the UK and Europe finally touching down in 2003 when he took a long awaited break.
Now Tom MacLear returns for ONE MORE RODEO... assembling a cast of his past and present piers. A who's who of the California Country-Rock Click.
