Reports Conflicting Over Ray Price’s Death

The Tennessean

Earlier this afternoon, our Tennessean.com website and many other news outlets posted a report that Country Music Hall of Famer Ray Price had died.

Those reports were in error. Price remains in hospice care at his Mt. Pleasant, Texas home.

Price’s son, Cliff Price had written of his passing on Facebook, but was not at Price’s bedside when he posted. Price’s wife, Janie Price, is at his side and confirms that he is alive.
