,
A little history of T'Soul: Over 25 years ago, Archie and Dale were friends by the way of mutual friends. And as they were both busy with their own music, bands, life and desire to fulfill their own dreams to write and to perform, they went their separate ways. After years of not knowing where or what each was doing, in 2006, their paths crossed again. Now the two are inseparable. Their collaboration of songwriting is very unique as shown by the latest writing and recordings of "Tell Me Why" and "River and the Sea". And this is just the beginning of outstanding songwriting between these two. Keep an eye and ear out for these powerful songwriters. Bio: Archie Hughes (ASCAP) Music has been an integral part of Archie Hughes' life since early childhood. He was born into a musical family and therefore feels that music is one of the most important aspects of his life. The music that his family exposed Archie to in his early years helped him develop his unique and distinct style of song writing. Archie Hughes has had a band since the early 70's up to the late 90's. The sound was from country swing to southern rock. Playing in small clubs to playing at major events to be the open act for major artists' throughout the greater SF Bay Area and beyond. Now residing in Sonoma County since 2006, Archie continues his love to write and perform. Now a member of the West Coast Songwriters Association, once again his drive and vision of songwriting and performing has open doors again. "I do believe that music and sharing your original composition to anyone that will listen is a treasure in itself. A few keystrokes and with the internet, you can express all you want and the world strives for it". Good or bad....it's here to stay" Bio: Dale Brock (ASCAP) Influenced by his parents who performed as a Texas Swing Band throughout the greater Los Angeles area during the late 1940s, and later converted to performing gospel music, Dale began writing music and performing as a solo singer/guitar player in the 1970s. After spending a number of years on the San Francisco Bay Peninsula performing mainly cover tunes at various club venues, Dale hooked up with his cousin and his wife to form a trio called "The Family Portrait". "The Family Portrait" performed a variety of country and country flavored pop and folk tunes in the SF Bay Area including some of Dale's original compositions. After moving to Sonoma County in 2003, his creative aspirations began to command attention. "I gave in and the songs just keep coming and I am now recording and performing only original material. Not sure where this train is headed but it's a fun ride and I'm on board to the end of the line".
