A fourth-generation rancher, Kyle Wyley grew up on his family's cattle ranch in northeastern New Mexico 65 miles from the closest city. Hailing from a strong family built on a foundation of hard work and commitment, Kyle learned early in life that dedication and determination are key ingredients to success.
While Kyle's first love is country music, his musical influences run the gamut. When he was seven years old, his mother gave him $20 to buy any album he wanted while they were on a shopping trip. After looking at many different artists, the first music Kyle bought was a compilation of Mozart's. From this classical beginning, his love of music has grown to include artists and music from all genres – Mozart to Vince Gill; Merle Haggard to Dean Martin; Dwight Yoakam to Mick Jagger; flamenco greats to salsa sounds.
Kyle's true musical identity has evolved by taking the best elements from each of these genres' and seamlessly blending them together to make his own signature style. Country music has given Kyle an awareness and appreciation of music that portray life's lessons and experiences, while his love of blues and jazz have deepened his approach to interpreting a song. Naturally, the Latin and classical music he loves has influenced his sense of "groove" and melody.
His career is on the fast track. He is co-writing with some of Nashville's top tunesmiths and working on a new CD. He also became the first-ever artist representative for weekly newspaper magazine insert American Profile which has a subscriber base of more than eight million readers. Kyle performs at newspaper conventions around the country on behalf of the publication.
Kyle is also continuing his work on the road with the Children's Miracle Network affiliate hospitals.
Kyle Wyley... watch for him.
